These new ROHM Semiconductor silicon carbide solutions offer low forward voltage and faster recovery times. The SCS210AG Series of Semiconductors maintain low forward voltage (VF) over a wide operating temperature range which results in lower power dissipation under actual operating conditions. Low VF minimizes switching loss and enables high switching frequency, resulting in smaller passives and smaller end-product form factors.
Featuring extremely low switching loss, excellent thermal conductivity and high operating temperature, as well as reduced EMI emission, these devices are ideal for applications such as power factor correction / SMPS, solar inverters, motor drives, and more.
