In response to the latest news revealing the scale of disaster in Japan, Opus Alliance (www.opus-alliance.com) has increased its donation to a total of £450,000 to support relief efforts in the country. In addition, Opus Alliance will be matching employees' fundraising efforts.
The donation will help the aid organizations to undertake continued logistical support and humanitarian relief in the disaster zone.
4 months after an earthquake and tsunami struck Japan on 11th March, the money will go towards a range of needs and services, from prefabricated housing to mental health counseling.
“At this point, the money will go to aid long-term recovery” said Opus Alliance CEO Michael Welch. “Our thoughts are with the millions of people affected by this terrible disaster”.
