Marco Physio is proud to announce that they have been selected to be part of the medical team on the 2011 Virgin London Marathon. This is one of the largest running events in the world with over 30,000 participants each year. Marco Physio will offer physiotherapy assistance to all those runners at different points through the race in central London. Physiotherapy London based Marco Physio will be part of a team of expert physiotherapists that will assist the runners on the marathon day: 17 April 2011.
The London Marathon seems to attract the best runners and an vast amount of coverage since the first race in 1981. It has been the one life experience to complete for people who want to be part of history. Anyone can run a marathon but the right training is essential.
Running is one of the most popular sports amongst Londoners and the risk of injuries, particularly in long distance event, can be high.
