Ocean Blue & Sand, Punta Cana's premier five-star resort on Bavaro Beach, will enhance the guest experience at this all-inclusive beachfront property by executing a number of refurbishments and upgrades to its public areas and guest rooms.
The addition of a new Piano Bar and reformation of the popular lobby bar will be among the enhancements seen in the public areas. An exclusive Privilege check-in reception area is also underway, providing even greater service to guests who book upgraded Privilege and Honeymoon suites.
Blue Moon, an elegant and romantic restaurant for adults only, has already become one of the most in-demand dining experiences at Ocean Blue & Sand, offering innovative French cuisine reminiscent of the Caribbean’s French colonial history.
Guests will continue to enjoy varied and traditional fare available at two spruced up buffet restaurants, El Carey & La Tortuga, open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The buffets and Blue Moon are among Ocean Blue & Sand’s nine international restaurant choices available to guests.
All remodeling work will be accomplished this fall during the hotel’s low season, and will not disrupt guests during their stays. Improvements will be completed in time for the busy winter and holiday season.
The substantial investment has made it possible to offer comprehensive, all-inclusive luxury in a more relaxed setting in the Dominican Republic’s most fashionable vacation district, Punta Cana. Each of the new luxuriously appointed, modern and stylish guest rooms are outfitted with all the comforts and amenities that guests expect during their stay.
Since opening in 2005 on a beautiful stretch of Bávaro Beach, Ocean Blue & Sand has become one of Punta Cana’s most popular all-inclusive resorts. Two separate guest pods,
Ocean Blue and Ocean Sand, face each other across tropical garden courtyards and pools. The “Boulevard” is the resort’s hotspot, where seven different theme restaurants, a bowling alley and game room, casino, and disco offer an array of around-the-clock activities and services.
Dedicated “Animation” staff provides guests entertaining options throughout the day and night, from sporting activities like yoga, rock climbing and water polo, to meregue dance lessons and national folkloric shows. Guests may choose to participate in as many of these free activities as desired throughout their stay.
Parents will love the planned diversions for children ages 4 to 12 offered at MiniClub Daisy, designed to allow some free time for adults and maximum fun for the kids.
