Atlanta, GA - USA - January 27, 2011 – CoreGuard, the developer of the WindTalker Security Platform ans Stanfield Systems (SSI), a provider of advanced software engineering services and solutions announces that they have entered into a strategic partnership to offer next generation security technology to the government and private-industry markets. This technology addresses known/unknown vulnerabilities, weaknesses, and/or gaps on automated systems in the post-Wikileaks environment.

The WindTalker solution brings to market a new technology that will significantly enhance how information is protected and shared across today’s dynamically changing computer networks.

WindTalker is Next Generation Security technology securing information at the data element layer, ensuring that only people with proper credentials are permitted access to the data needed to perform their tasks. Since security is now handled at the data element itself, information can be stored, shared, and distributed independent of hardware or storage medium.

With WindTalker technology, if a hacker breaches your network security or intercepts data during transmission, your information is still secure. Hackers cannot access your data, even if you handed it to them on a disk! WindTalker technology was engineered with the assumption that most losses occur from within (i.e. Wikileaks), either by mistake, negligence, or intent.

“Protecting our networks is no longer a sufficient way to guarantee data security. This problem is a difficult one”. David Doherty, SSI’s CEO explains – “Preventing future information security events such as Wikileaks involves assuming that loss starts from inside the organization. WindTalker was designed on this assumption. The application of sub-file encryption, instant key revocation capabilities, the ability to monitor every single key request, and the ability to instantly supersede and replace keys are only a few of the features that enable WindTalker to prevent loss of critical information from the inside out. We at SSI are excited about offering and advocating this technology across multiple market segments. If your organization has sensitive information, you need to look at what this technology can do for you”.

WindTalker secures information wherever it is: stored, archived, in memory, on a storage device or disk, in transmission - even across wireless networks. It also secures phone calls, PDAs, multi-media, video streams, files, documents, and records archives.

CDR Raymond Schenk, USN (ret) the CTO of CoreGuard, believes that “WindTalker technology will provide explosive new opportunities to protect information from loss or theft in a post-Wikileaks environment. With world-wide increases in cyber-crime, theft and terrorism, WindTalker’s use will enable significantly enhanced data protection strategies that can improve secure distribution and differential sharing of information across business functions or operational areas."

CoreGuard is an information security software company headquartered in Atlanta that develops, markets and services cybersecurity solutions and was founded with the mission of protecting the warfighter. CoreGuard’s WindTalker is a transformational technology that addresses ever-increasing threats to information security. WindTalker is simple-to-use, hardware independent and secures information without impacting business operations.
