Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components, announces immediate availability of advanced silicon power products from Renesas, offering high performance and improved system efficiency.
Concerns regarding environmental preservation and other factors have prompted the need to improve the energy efficiency of electrical equipment, in addition to the ongoing shift toward clean energy such as solar and wind power. Vigorous efforts continue, with the goal of boosting energy efficiency in equipment that handles high voltages and large currents, such as solar inverters, water-jet pumps, and large current inverter-controlled motors.
Renesas Electronics has introduced a new line of Silicon Power products that are optimized for the lowest total device loss (combination of switching loss and conduction loss). These new products help reduce power dissipation and enable more stable operation in applications such as three-phase inverter circuits, Buck/Boost converters and PFC systems widely used in large-current inverter blocks of solar power inverters or inverter controlled motors for industrial use. Applications include solar and renewable energy, industrial power supply/PFC, industrial motor control, AC adaptors, and servers power supply, among others.
