Veranda Designer Homes, the North Texas luxury homebuilder, received 4 ARC Awards at the Westin Galleria on Saturday, August 18th for the recently completed Country French estate in the Manors of Waterford in North Keller. Veranda is being recognized by the Dallas Builders Association and DHome Magazine for outstanding achievement in the $2+M category for: "Best Master Suite", "Best Dining Room", "Best Kitchen" and "Best Landscape".
The 6900sf single story estate, set on a wooded cul-de-sac lot features two courtyards and three water features, outstanding woodwork, unique design details and state of the art technology, fully controlled by iPad and iPhone. The home which is heated and cooled utilizing a geothermal system and coupled with total foam encapsulation of three insulated mechanical rooms in the attic, scored a 42 on the HERS Index resulting in a home that is 58% more efficient than a standard new home and 50% more efficient than the Energy Star rated home which must meet a HERS Index of 85.
