Editor of the magazine Mary -Louise said that the list had been given a great deal of thought on the run up to its final preparation and would like to thank the various committees that worked hard to make the awards become a reality. She went on to say that there were 592 Award Winners throughout 31 countries who are the happy recipients of the awards, one of the top honors for business excellence and outstanding service. It is noteworthy that ASIAN countries are very prominently represented on this list and garner a big number of the awards.
The Main Award Categories include:

VERYBEST.COM utilizes a proprietary evaluation system during the review of all nominees. This system is based on awarding up to a maximum of 100 points to the nominee and there is no limit as to how many nominees are able to win in any one category. Also a nominee could fall into various categories and so win more than one award. It is also possible for smaller entities and local businesses to be nominated, providing they reach the standard.
- The PHILANTHROPY AND PEOPLE AWARDS will be released on January 8th.
- The Award Ceremony will take place on January 15th at the Hotel de Paris, Monte Carlo, Monaco
