The Da Bruno Restaurants Group has laid on a magically exquisite New Year’s Eve Menu, for those who wish to celebrate New Year’s Eve 2011 at one of the best Restaurants in Marbella ( http://www.dabruno.com/en/index.php ).

The 2011 New Year’s Eve Party Menu is available in Da Bruno Capobino and Da Bruno Sul Mare. The evening starts with some appetisers and a welcome drink, and even though the appetisers will be delicious, do pace yourself as the main New Year’s Eve menu includes seven delicious courses.

Your welcome drink is Juve y Camps Cinta Púrpura Reserva which is a reserve cava and the appetisers to tempt you are dates with bacon, mini meatballs with BBQ sauce, as well as banana chips and yucca chips.

The exquisite seven course menu and drinks menu are highlighted below, and additionally you will be supplied with a best Good Luck Grapes Party Bag ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twelve_Grapes ).

If you are a resident of the area you may already be aware of the Spanish tradition of eating 12 grapes in tune with bells at midnight. However for those who are not familiar with this, it is known as the “12 grapes of luck”, and you need to eat each grape at the same time as the bell strikes. Assuming you can manage this then you can look forward to a prosperous 2012. Also some believe that by doing this you are also warding off witches and evil in general.

The seven course menu is as follows:

Lobster with marinated Mango and Mediterranean Perfume

Ox Consommé with his own Tortellini

Monkfish Medallios with Black Risotto and Parmesan Chips

Gin-Tonic Sorbet with Cucumber Emulsion

Tenderloin Rossini with Foie Gras and Truffleserved with Madeira Wine Sauce

2011 Surprise of White Chocolate, Pistachio Ice Cream and Toffee Sauce

Coffee and Christmas Sweets
The drinks menu is:

White Wine
PROTOS Bodegas Protos Ribera del Duero de Peñafiel
D.O. Rueda (Verdejo)

Red Wine
PAGO EL ESPINO Bodega Cortijo de Los Aguilares
D.O. Sierras de Málaga
(Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot y Merlot)

Champagne for the Toast
LOUIS ROEDERER Brut Premier

Good Luck Grapes, Party Bag...

And the first Drink of the New Year is on the House!

About Da Bruno:
To regular guests and friends, it is obvious that the Da Bruno Restaurants Group is more than a group of restaurants, but in fact a community in itself.

The Da Bruno restaurant group began operating in Marbella in 1994 with the launch of Pasta Da Bruno after which followed the opening of Da Bruno Home (1999), Da Bruno Cabopino A (2001), Da Bruno Sul Mare ( 2002), Da Bruno to San Pedro (2005) and also at Da Bruno Cabopino Take Away and Delicatessen (2008). Da Bruno was founded by Bruno and Giuseppina Filippone who continue to run the business and have brought an unmistakable personal stamp of quality traditional Italian food to their restaurants.
