Charlbury, United Kingdom (17 August, 2011) - The Writers' Workshop, a leading literary consultancy specialising in providing writing feedback in the form of editorial critique, writing festivals and courses, is hosting an event this year intended to offer writers insight into the world of publishing from the industry experts, and how to get their work published.

The Getting Published event is designed to offer writers advice and information on precisely what they should do upon completing a manuscript; bringing together leading agents, publishers and book doctors to offer expert and truthful insights into everything writers need to know about this often daunting process. The event will feature keynote speaker Caroline Dawnay of United Agents, one of London's most prestigious literary agencies, as well as David Headley (of DHH Literary Agency), Penny Holroyde (of Caroline Sheldon Literary Agency), and Juliet Mushens (of PFD).

The event will be held in the Royal Overseas League in Piccadilly on Saturday 15th October, 2011. Tickets for the event are priced at £185, inclusive of lunch, refreshments, a book doctor session, and an invitation to the Writers' Workshop 2011 launch party, which follows the main event at 6.00pm.

"Places are limited and bookings have been going very fast this year, so we advise anyone interested in attending to not wait around too long to get their tickets," commented a spokesperson for The Writers' Workshop. "We want to help you make your work wonderful - then help you through to publication. We've had plenty of clients become bestselling authors before now and we'd love to help you join their number. We'll do all we can to keep the event upbeat, and if our Festival of Writing was anything to go by, this event will be as useful as it is enjoyable for attendees."

Bookings can be made quickly and simply online by visiting http://www.writersworkshop.co.uk/festivals/index.shtml.
