On August 11th, 2011, hundreds of local businesses and entrepreneurs will meet in Salt Lake City to trade gift certificates, products and services with other area business owners in the largest barter expo ever in Utah.
“Business owners that attend the event are able to turn unused products or services into something they are currently paying cash for, and often at very little cost to them, says Tinamarie Fowler, Northern Utah ITEX Broker said. “Some do it to save money. Others do it to buy things they couldn’t normally afford. All do it to promote their business. Either way, it’s a great thing for local businesses to do to help each other do more business.”
