The EGIA administers utility and government energy efficient programs throughout the country. To provide homeowners with peace of mind when hiring contractors to perform work in their home, the EGIA established the 'GEOSmart Authorized Contractor' designation. In order to be recognized as a GEOSmart Contractor and to have the backing that comes from the 80 year old non- profit organization dedicated to advancing energy efficient and renewable home energy solutions, our technicians must meet their strict requirement guidelines.
Those guidelines include: Verification of a valid contractor license Satisfactory Dun and Bradstreet Check Satisfactory credit check Verification of solid business financials Trade reference check and verification Only the most qualified contractors will meet the required screening criteria and become a GEOSmart Authorized Contractor. We are proud of all of our technicians for being accepted into the program.
