The Flip Garden Chair and Ketterlux Table are manufactured in Germany by Kettler a company renowned for it’s high quality garden furniture.
The retro modern design of the Flip Garden Chair perfectly complements the clean and precise design the 70 cm Kettelux folding table.
The Flip Garden Chair frame is made of lightweight tubular steel and treated with an unique anti rust coating process .The shoulder high backrest and seat is constructed by interweaving a high quality PVC cord specially developed for outdoor use. It has UV resistance and will retain it’s colour. The main benefit of the woven cord is that it moulds to the body to create maximum seating comfort but due to the unique fibre at the centre of the cord, once the occupant has left the seat it always returns to its original shape. The chair is available in a vibrant red colour only.
Maximum seating comfort is achieved because there is an optimum area of contact points between the occupant and the chair. Body weight is distributed more evenly reducing the pressure on the body at any given point. The contoured seat pan which moulds itself into the shape of the occupant’s backside, achieved by the flexible PVC cord, means that weight is evenly distributed and a piece of comfortable garden furniture is achieved. This makes this garden chair ideal for outdoor use, being extremely comfortable without the need for any cushions for padding.
The frame of the Kettlelux folding garden table is made from lightweight but strong tubular steel, again treated with an anti rust coating. The folding mechanism is achieved through a ball and socket joint. The table top is made from an exclusive blend of resins and polymers. It is the surface coating which is completely new and innovative. It consists of a sealing system based on the legendary lotus flower. It contains several hundred thousand tiny crystals per square centimetres and it is the tips of the crystals which create minute high and low points across the entire surface. This prevents other materials such as tree resins, candle wax and nail varnish from getting a grip and so these can be removed without any trace. It also allows water droplets to float across the surface, picking up and carrying off any dirt in its path.
