The Ex Knife Set has hit the home appliance market with style. It has been featured on a few talk shows, and is set in a background kitchen scene in a Harry Potter movie. But why all the fuss?
The generic stick man has become somewhat of a millennial icon. It is used in images of comedy and satire. In this case, it is used to depict an ex boyfriend/girlfriend, or ex wife/husband. This is a 5-piece knife set, with all knives being the standard culinary knifes that are the most useful in everyday cooking. The plastic contraption in the shape of a little person comes in various colors. This is quite the conversation piece, and will be a topic of discussion in any home.
The Ex Knife Set includes an ABS plastic storage figurine that was designed to be ergonomic. It comes in gold, black, red, silver, or pink. The knife set incudes razor sharp, stainless steel knives. Here is a list of the types of knives included:
- 8 inch Chef's knife
- 8 inch Bread knife
- 8 inch Carver knife
- 5 inch Utility knife
- 3 1/2 inch Parer

Also by Raffaelle Iannello is the Ex Tray. This is a tray that can be used to serve hors d’oeuvres. It has 10 quality stainless steel skewers that come with an Ex stick figure. This follows the same plastic stick figure design as the Ex Knife Set, but it has holes that fit steel skewers. The tray size is 12 inches x 9 inches x 8 inches. The tray is initially served with the stick figure secured in the middle of the tray, but once eating begins, the figure is removed and set aside to reveal a plate of goodies.
Since Raffaelle Iannello's innovative mind created these functional works of art, several imitation pieces have been designed. Analogous to the Ex theme is the Dead Fred Pen Holder. this involves an ABS plastic figurine, much like the one for the Ex Knife Set, and Ex Tray. The difference is that it is sprawled, lying down over a desk at work or anywhere an item of whimsy might be appropriate. It can hold almost any type of pen, and is also a great conversation piece.
Have you ever entered your kitchen, or gone to work thinking, not even noticing that the paradigm of your mind has taken a bad turn? It is not usually the case, when the mind resets and enters a different room, that one's train of thought will shift unknowingly? With the above appliances, one can subconsciously feel a little giddy upon entering a room.
