3PRIME Builds Facebook Application for Cosmetology School

CT web design company, 3PRIME, has just completed work on a Facebook app for local Cosmetology ( http://www.academydicapelli.com ) School, Academy Di Capelli. The application Academy Di Capelli commissioned 3PRIME to build was a lighthearted questionnaire ( http://www.facebook.com/pages/Academy-Di-Capelli/179173549778?sk=app_262516410442723 ) for their fan page. Once a fan fills out the questionnaire they're given an opportunity to sign up for a free tour of the program.
Cornel Boudria, co-owner of 3PRIME, had this to say about the project, “While we have extensive experience in designing applications for the web, making something like this for Facebook was a bit different. We focused more on ease of use and creating an interface that would draw in the Academy’s fans and encourage them to participate.”
The Facebook marketing campaign was managed by the Milford, CT based company Internet Marketing Impact. Linda Freeman, who heads the company, discussed engineering the ad campaign. “Facebook provides an ideal medium for the Academy, it places the school in front of young adults who're within a reasonable proximity of the school. In structuring the ad campaign our main goal was to make the ads fresh in order to avoid the 'ad fatigue syndrome' that some users can experience on Facebook.”
It was important for the Academy to reach out to their Facebook fans in a tangible way. The school is located in Wallingford, CT and they're fully accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Art & Sciences (NACCAS) and the only L’Oreal Professional institution in CT. With a professional staff of experienced and licensed Cosmetologists, a thorough curriculum, and state-of-the-art equipment, Academy Di Capelli's goal is to prepare students for a lasting career in Cosmetology.
